Industry Vote

In order to submit your vote, please complete our online voting form.

You'll need to provide a few details and then you can have your say in as many categories as you'd like, either by selecting from the company lists provided (the results of the initial self-nomination stage) or by submitting your own nomination via the 'other' option.

You are welcome to vote for your own firm but only one internal vote per company will be counted towards the final total.

Votes will only be accepted from individuals operating withing the UK mortgage industry, i.e. in the following company type / job functions:

Bank, Building Society, Compliance, Estate Agents, Financial Adviser, General Insurance Broker, House builders, IFA, IT/Technology, Legal, Life/Pension Product Provider, Marketing, Mortgage Administrator, Mortgage Adviser, Mortgage Advisory/Brokerage, Mortgage Broker, Mortgage Club, Mortgage Network, Sales/Business Development, Specialist Lender, Underwriter, Wealth Adviser

Any votes from individuals not perceived to belong to the UK mortgage industry by the Mortgage Strategy team will be discounted.

Voting will close at midnight on Friday 28 January.

The firms with the highest number of votes in each category will become our longlist. Longlisted firms will be contacted in early February and invited to submit an entry. For an overview of the Awards entry process, please click here.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the voting process we are unable to contact all unsuccessful firms; if you have not heard from us by Friday 18 February, unfortunately your firm has not been taken through to the longlist on this occasion.

We have a new nomination and entry system for 2022 which means the process has changed very slightly. To submit your self-nomination, please follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the Award categories page and select the relevant category/ies
  2. Create an account. Please note that as we are using a new system this year you will need to create a new account even if you have submitted for the Awards in the past.
  3. You will then be taken to the basket page (step 1). The category/ies that you have selected will appear under the ‘Awards Nomination’ heading and you can complete the required information (company name and a short supporting statement).
  4. You can then ‘Continue’ at the bottom of the page to proceed through the basket process.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email from the system once your self-nomination has been successfully submitted.

Yes. Our nomination, entry and booking system is new for 2022, and so in order to submit a self-nomination you will first be prompted to create a new account. You will then use this account for any future entries or bookings on the Mortgage Strategy Awards site.

To create your account, first visit the Award categories page and select the category/ies that you would like to self-nominate into either by clicking the 'Self-Nominate Now' button, or by using the tick boxes to select multiple categories and then clicking 'process' in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.

You can self-nominate in as many categories as you'd like. To do so, visit the Award categories page, and use the tick boxes in the top right hand corner of each category box to select the categories you'd like to self-nominate into. You will then be asked to create an account (as our entry & booking system is new for 2022), before being taken through to a basket page where you can complete the required information for each category and submit.

We ask all firms to submit a short supporting statement to summarise why they are putting themselves forward for the particular category, and with a brief company bio. This is to assist our editorial team when reviewing all self-nominations before putting them through to the public vote stage.

Supporting statements should be no more than 200 words.

No - only one self-nomination per company is required at this stage. All nominations will be reviewed by the Mortgage Strategy editorial team, and subject to their approval, will then be put forward at the industry voting stage in January 2022.

Click on the person icon in the top right corner of the menu bar, and enter the email address and password that you used when you first started your self-nomination. You will then be taken through to your dashboard and will be able to continue (up until the entry deadline).

Self-nominations will be reviewed by the Mortgage Strategy editorial team before going through to the next stage of the process, the industry vote. During the voting stage, the entire UK mortgage industry will be given the opportunity to have their say and cast their vote for their top firms of 2021, or nominate any firms not already on the list. Voting will open in January 2022.
